Technical requirements :

You need :
- PicturesToExe version 7 or higher : download a free evaluation version here.
- Mandatory : You need the "Honey Script" font installed on your system.
You can download this free font here on http://www.dafont.com.
In case you don't know how to install a new font, read this article.

How to use this template :

Choose the pictures of your own you want to use, rename them dayof-pic01, dayof-pic02, dayof-pic99.
dayof-pic01 and dayof-pic99 have to be square formats.
dayof-pic02 has to have a landscape format.
Open dayof-pic01 with your photo editor, apply a strong gaussian blur and save the result as dayof-pic01blur.
All your pictures have to have .jpg extension

Copy (replace) all those pictures in the folder where you unzipped the archive.
Open the template (TheDom-DayOf-TPL.pte).

Modify the texts/symbols displayed in the slideshows :
Select successively slides #2.INTRODUCTION, #4.CHAPTER and #6.FINAL and go in the Objects and Animation window.
Look for the name of the object in caps and in square brackets : [COMMENT], [WEATHER], [TEMPERATURE], [DAY], [PREV DAY], [MONTH], [YEAR], [TITLE], [DATE / TITLE]
For each of these objects, select it on the object list, click on the keypoint of the object in the timeline and modify the text in the Properties tab.

About the object [CLOCK COLOR] (in slide #2 and #6), it's not a text object. It's a rectangle and you can change its color in the same tab to fit your need.

About the object [PAN CIRCLE] (in slide #4), it's the circle that turns on the map to indicate the position. Select this object, click on the keypoint of the object in the timeline with your mouse and still with your mouse, move it to wherever you need.
Before doing this, click on the Tools button and be sure the option "Ignore objects not selected" is ticked.

About the slide #4.CHAPTER
As its name suggest, this slide is supposed to be used as an introduction for a new chapter.
You can duplicate this slide as many time as you need and make the appropriate changes on the duplicated slides :
+ Modify the image used : select the image object dayof-pic02 and in the Properties tab, change for an other image. To do so, click on the little folder icon and browse you HD to select the desired image.
+ Modify the Title, Comment and position of the Circle : see explanations provided in the previous paragraph above.
You can insert as many standard picture slides as you need after this "chapter" slide.

Convert the animation into an exe or a video.

You can make all the modifications you want and include this effect in your slideshow.
